My skin care routine

I never struggled with my skin until I started traveling with Nick. Now, My skin has to adjust and readjust to California, Arizona and Texas throughout the year. I can't say I have the best skin or that I have found the perfect skin care routine for me, but I get asked a lot about what I use. As always, I'm happy to share!

I have heard a lot of really great things about the Peter Thomas Roth line but this is the only product I have personally tried. I don't experience dark circles but "tired eyes" is a real thing. I am obsessed with these eye patches. after about 15 minutes it feels like my underlies took a little trip to paradise and came back totally refreshed. You can literally feel the moisture absorbing into your skin. I have only tried one other brand of eye patches and I wasn't impressed. These are the bomb.com.

For my actual skin care I have been using Rodan and Fields. I found this company before our wedding when I was desperate to find something that would help with how my skin was reacting to lack of sleep and stress. I really like the reverse line for how healthy my skin looks, but it hasn't completely helped with my hormonal breakouts. Sometimes I have super flawless skin, other days my skin makes me look like a high school teen that who doesn't wash their face. I have currently started using the redefine intensive renewing serum and the micro- dermabrasion paste which is supposed to solve my breakout issue. With my website launch and adjusting to this Arizona weather I don't think FaceTune could even help me with these breakouts, but I'll keep you posted.

I battle with dry skin every day. Most of the time I feel like I just need to sit in a coconut oil bath for 5 days to really see any change. These two products have definitely helped me fight the dry fight. I use just the oil at night but during the day it's a little too much of an oil texture to do anything productive after putting it on. I mix it with my cocoa butter lotion and it absorbs better while still giving my the moisture I'm needing.
